2nd Party

So, a bunch of us had a really fun Easter egg hunt at my house. The day was perfect, and I think everyone had a great time. The bunny paid us a visit, which was so nice. Everyone worked so hard to get this done, but I really want to thank Amanda's dad and Sue. I didn't get many pictures, so here's what I have.

Easter time

We hosted Spencer's class Easter egg hunt at our house. This is the first of many events at our house in the next few days. It was a lot of fun except for the bugs that just swarmed us. We ate on the porch to get away from them. Other than that, it was a beautiful day.

How long are we going to have to wait here?

This is the first cake I baked for Spencer. His friend Anna-Leigh shares his birthday, which is on Easter, so we had his class celebration with a bunny cake and ice cream.

This adorable outfit is an outfit that my mom made. We were trying to get a picture to send to the magazine that the pattern came from. We'll see if it gets published. At least it will here.

I can't believe how time flies. It is my birthday again. I want to thank all of my family and friends for making it so wonderful. I love you all!

Kite Time

Thanks to Mills, Spencer is actually flying his first kite all by himself. So exciting!

Tubes and Adenoids

Eliza has had many ear infections, and we went last week to see an ENT doctor. All of a sudden we were scheduled to have tubes put in her ears and her adenoids taken out. I was actually relieved because she has not been sleeping well. She wakes up every night and nobody is getting their full nights sleep. So, this morning after spending about an hour in the middle of the night with Eliza, we got up at 5:30 to get ready to take Eliza in for her surgery. It did not take long at all, and she did pretty well waking up from the anesthesia. As we walked into the house, the first smile she gave was when she saw Spencer. It was truly so sweet.

This was the day after, so she is doing great.
