Fun at the beach

Nancy has us over each year one day while her family stays at the family beach house. This was the day, and it was so much fun for everyone. The boys boogie-boarded forever. The girls enjoyed collecting shells and digging in the sand. They enjoyed the water too, but I did not think that Spencer would ever come out of the water. I know I say it a lot, but we are so blessed that we have so many friends, and that we enjoy being with each other. Thank you Nancy for the fun day!

Memorial Day

We had some friends come over for a fun day under the tree. Bryan and Anne put the boat in the water, so we did get a boat ride or two. The adults successfully kept the kids out of the creek because it is still a little too cold for us adults. The Sanders, the Lancasters, the Smiths came out to enjoy the day along with Anne and Bryan's family and Amy and Blair's family. I apparently did not take pictures until later in the day, so I unfortunately do not have all the cute pictures that these families produce.

Oh the fun - Eliza gets to have Julia and Louisa

The Big Graduation

I don't even know what to write here. I can't believe my baby is six years old, and he is graduating from kindergarten. Is it really time for first grade? We are so proud of this guy. He has gone from having trouble with his letters (just last year) to reading things that I never thought he would be doing in kindergarten. It is truly amazing.
I love that he says his favorite thing about school is "his mathie". That was my favorite, so it thrills me that he already loves math. I can't wait to see what you are going to do in elementary school.

When we first got there, he got to run around with some of his friends. They were all so handsome and the girls were so beautiful.

They sang lots of songs, and different children would come up front to talk about or demonstrate things from other countries until they ended back in America.

They were speaking French, and the four of them did a French dance that was adorable.

This is Spencer spotting his cousin Legare. He could hardly keep his eyes off of him once he saw him.

Receiving his diploma from Ms. Regalbuto. She was such a great teacher for Spencer along with Mrs. Toulouse.

We had a fan club there. Uncle Bryan, Legare and Uncle Thomas were there too, but they already left for the restaurant.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Reeves and Eliza
They had such a great year together. I am very upset they will not be in the same class next year, but hopefully they can play on the playground together. We love you Reeves.

Thanks Eliza for getting this picture of us.

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's day. We went to church, and then we headed over to Bryan and Anne's house. We thought we would get to go swimming, but the weather had other plans. It did not stop us. We had the best time. By the end of the night, Julia, Eliza, Anne and I were dressing up and dancing in the sunroom. I can't wait to have many many more days like this.

These are the pictures you get when you let your 3 year old take off with your camera.

The Citadel Parade

Katharine had a great idea to go to the Citadel to watch their final parade of the year. Unfortunately, her kids were a little under the weather, so they did not come, but Daddy joined us, and we had a lot of fun. Spencer enjoyed showing them his old school and explaining everything to them.

Little Spencer actually took this picture.
