A night with the Lancasters

Just a night to relax and laugh with friends. And, another picture to use as bribery in the future.

Thanksgiving Day

We had a great time on Thanksgiving. We ate lunch at Bryan and Anne's house. The food was fantastic, and it was so nice and relaxing. My family was there, and the Becknells were all there.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!

We are so excited that you are our sister and aunt. Hope you had a great day.

Love,

Thanksgiving Day Feast

This was so cute. Spencer's class came in beating their drums (they were the Indians). Then, the other class came in with sails (they were the Pilgrims on the boats). They sat at the table next to their new friends.

BUGS

Of course, I had my camera, but this is the only picture I actually had Spencer take. I'm becoming a slacker in so many ways. At least it is a good picture.

Play Friends

I know you can't really tell from these pictures, but I heard the best noises coming from Eliza's room. It sounded like two friends actually playing together. It really just warmed my heart and I wanted to have this day down so I wouldn't forget.

Garden City Weekend

November 9 - 12
After we left the Festival of Lights we drove straight to Garden City. The kids went to sleep quickly, so it was a nice calm drive. We had so much fun. We didn't do too much. Eliza was already under the weather, but we decided to go on. Eventually Spencer got sick, and then big Spencer got sick, and I lost my voice. Eventhough we all were sick, we had a great time. We still went and did things and Saturday Amy and Blair came and joined us.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that Spencer got sick seeing that we let him go swimming.

Eliza was getting some special daddy time.

Fun on the beach.

Put-put. I think we have a star on hand.

Eliza might be a different story. We couldn't get her to hold onto her club.

On Saturday when Amy and Blair joined us we went to Huntington Beach State Park. It was a hike to the jetties, but we all made it.

Eliza needed to rest on the way back to the stroller.

After our walk, we went to see Atalaya. I didn't take many pictures, but Spencer wanted to take this one of him in "jail".

We love our Aunt Amy and Uncle Blair.

Festival of Lights

We had a great time going to the opening night for the Festival of Lights walk. The Eglestons, Smiths, Ayers and Bairs all came and we had a ball together. The kids enjoyed playing beforee, and I think they all really enjoyed the lights. This is definitely a tradition in the making.

Laughs at my expense

Okay, leave it to Nancy to know my own child's birthday and not me. Spencer's birthday is the 8th not the 9th. Big Spencer has totally messed me up with this, but now that I have embarrassed myself, maybe I will remember. I just have to laugh at myself and move on.

Tagged?

Okay, It is hard enough to get my pictures up, and now I have been tagged to think and write. Apparently Nancy found these sentence starters, and put them on her blog, and she tagged Amanda who tagged me. I guess I will give it a try, but if my brain explodes, you have to answer to Spencer.

I am: a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister (basically a great relative) who loves her family and friends.
I want: to be a faithful Christian each and every minute of the day.
I have: such a long way to go to fulfill the sentence above.
I wish: that my family will all have faithful and happy lives.
I hate: all my household chores.
I miss: my grandmother.
I hear: the TV, the dishwasher, the washing machine and the dryer.
I wonder
: how all you other moms get everything done.
I regret
: all the times that I have hurt anyone feelings.
I am not
: the best at remembering birthdays.
I dance: the shag with my husband whenever I can.
I sing
: very badly, but all the time especially with my children.
I cry
: very easily.
I am not always
: as organized as I would like to be.
I make with my hands
: cross-stitch patterns, a few scrapbooks and a mess in my house.
I confuse
: my son's birthday date, the 9th, ever since my husband couldn't remember if it was the 8th or the 9th.
I need
: to pray more often.
I should
: eat less and run more often.
I start
: feeling better when my children smile at me.
I finish
: each day with a trip to each room to kiss my children good night.

Okay, Since I did this, I tag Dorothy, Anne and Rossi (in your spare time).

Lobsters Lobsters

These two hot mamas had a fantastic lobster party, and I know they raised lots of money for The Little School. We all had so much fun, and the lobsters were sooooo yummy.

I love you girls!
