Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amanda, Jason, Jackson and Harris
We had the best tie on Halloween. We went over to their house to eat pizza and trick or treat. There isn't very good trick or treating up the creek. So, we came over along with the Lancaster crowd, Sander crowd and a visit from the Smith crowd. It was so wonderful. We made ice cream in the Mega Ball that Anne, Bryan, Julia and Legare gave to Spencer for his birthday. It really worked, but it was a little loud for rolling inside the house. I should have taken it outside. At one point the phone was ringing, the doorbell was ringing, the kids were screaming and the ice cream ball was loud from the ice rolling around in it. We survived and had a great time.
This was Spencer's carnival at The O'Quinn School. It was so much fun seeing him with his friends at school. His Aunt Annie was in charge of the carnival this year, and it was fantastic. Both Spencer and Eliza had a great time.
Thank you for such a wonderful party. Mary Kathryn's birthday party was so much fun. There were games and prizes and all kinds of good food. These are just a few pictures because we took so many. Everyone was sooooo cute. I just love all of you so much, and it is so wonderful to see all the fun.
Tonight Amy is officially my sister-in-law. We are so excited to have Aunt Amy in our lives, and Spencer and I had such a wonderful time at your wedding. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. We love you both!
Well, some of you know that I was inspired by Amanda and Caroline this summer. Spencer and I started a running program called The Couch Potato to 5K. I can't remember exactly when we started, but I think it was like the last week in June. We decided that our goal would be to run the Race for the Cure on Daniel Island. It was soo hard even in the beginning when I was just jogging 60 seconds at a time. Well, today I achieved my goal. I ran, well jogged, the Race for the Cure 5K. Spencer didn't do it with me because we ended up not having a babysitter, but Amanda picked me up at the Pig and we went. I feel great that I actually did it because I was very nervous about it, and thought I would be too self conscious to do it. I guess my goal now will be to run in a race on Thanksgiving with a better time. Spencer will be doing that with me. Amanda got someone in the parking lot to take our picture before we left.
Thank you to my Mom, Amanda, Nancy and Dorothy who all called me to wish me luck and talk me into actually doing it. (I was trying to talk myself out of it since we didn't have the babysitter.)
After coming home from the hospital where Bryan, Thomas and I were visiting dad, it was so nice walking over to Anne's to find her and Spencer with the kids all playing in the yard together. We are so lucky to have each other so close. Thank you Anne for keeping the kids.
I walked past Eliza's room, and I saw this brilliant child stacking the blocks. Once they would fall she would start again. Maybe we have an architect on our hands.
