Anne Hanckel Lancaster

What a wonderful day. Today Anne was baptized. I'm so glad that we were all there to help participate and celebrate. Of course Anne was beautiful and so was big sister, Mary Kathryn. Amanda and Jason and Melinda and Todd are going to be wonderful godparents. Thanks for letting us all be a part of this day. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I do not have any pictures.

Well, we had a great anniversary. I did a little baking in the morning (Spencer watched the kids) and then I went to a friend's baby shower (Spencer watched the kids and I got good food and to visit with friends). Then, I got to run a few errands by myself. When I got home we played with the kids for a bit, then we left in the boat to go to dinner at the Noisy Oyster. We putted around because we were a little early, but it was so beautiful and relaxing we didn't mind the extra time in the boat. We both thought the food was really good. We headed home as it was getting dark (again beautiful). So, after the fun ride and relaxing time I am no longer a mad housewife.

Of course, at four in the morning we were up with Spencer for an hour threatening him to get him to go back to sleep. I think I need another anniversary soon.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Today is Spencer and my sixth wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast time has flown by and how many wonderful times we have had. Spencer, you are a wonderful husband and father. Thank you for the past eleven years.

On August 2nd several of us went to the aquarium. I just got these off my camera and I had to share all the cuties.

Party in the rain

Eliza's first party. We were going to be out in the heat in baby pools and the sprinkler. Well, what a day. Is it going to rain? First we put everything outside, then we decided to put everything on the porch. It did rain on us, so we were glad we had the wonderful big porch. At least the heat wasn't bad because of the rain. The kids were still able to run around in the pools and the sprinklers even with it drizzling. We thank everyone for coming and celebrating Eliza's first birthday. Caroline, you are too sweet to come on your birthday, and I am so sorry we didn't even sing to you. I have such special and wonderful friends and family. I hope you all had fun.

You have been such a blessing to our lives since the day you were born. You have changed so much in this short year. We have gone from middle of the night feedings to rolling over to sitting up to crawling and now standing up on your own. It has all been so exciting. You bring such enjoyment to our lives with your adorable smile and laughs. Daddy, Spencer and I love you so much, and we hope that you will have a fantastic year to come.
